Formed by Mark Latimer in the early 1990's, Latimer CAD was initially established to provide 3D CAD interface solutions to the printed circuit board and electro-mechanical design sectors.

Following on from success in these areas Latimer CAD was asked to apply its AutoCAD 3D and interfacing expertise to the surveying market by English Heritage. The result was TheoLt, launched and distributed initially by Barclay Technical Graphics in 1998.

In the year 2000, being aware of the lack of good, cost effective IT support solutions for small and medium sized businesses, Latimer CAD launched a range of solutions to meet this need.
